आप सभी को पता होगा कि भारत सरकार ने योग को एक अलग मंत्रालय बनाकर यह संदेश दिया है कि आने वाले समय में रोजगार और स्वास्थ्य के लिए योग कितना ज़रूरी है । हम सब लोग यह जानते हैं कि अब से प्रतिवर्ष विश्व योग दिवस 21 जून को मनाया शुरू कर दिया है । इसे 177 देशों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र में पूर्ण बहुमत से पारित किया है ।

भारत सरकार स्कूल में योग शिक्षा लागू कर रही है । अभी हरियाणा, मध्य प्रदेश में योग शिक्षा पूर्ण रूप से लागू है । इसे सम्पूर्ण भारत में ख़ासकर स्कूलों में लागू करना है । केवल उत्तर प्रदेश में 366361 प्राथमिक, 7460 उच्च माध्यमिक स्कूल , 1760 डिग्री कॉलेज है । अगर स्कूल में एक योग प्रशिक्षक सिखाता है तो केवल स्कूल के लिये 376,581 योग प्रशिक्षको कि ज़रूरत होगी इसके अलावा सरकारी और निजी अस्पताल, पुलिस , सेना, एन सी सी, आयुध मंत्रालय इत्यादि । इन योग प्रशिक्षको कि नियुक्ति के लिए किसी भी रजिस्टर संस्थान से योग सर्टिफिकेट, डिप्लोमा की आवश्यकता होगी ।
